In this session, we will explore what living through the last 2 years has done to our mental health and why you may be feeling exhausted, irritable or even depressed. We’ll look at what mental health is, review some red flag symptoms that should prompt you to seek extra support, as well as an overview of treatment strategies for mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression.
As a jumping off point for the remainder of the Wellness Series, Mental Health 101 is foundational for anyone looking to improve their mental health.
What is Mindfulness Anyways?

Many people are familiar with the concept of mindfulness, but few actually use it in their daily lives. However, research shows that mindfulness skills and mindfulness training can help reduce stress, improve focus and concentration, elevate mood, improve sleep and alleviate symptoms related to depression, anxiety, substance use, eating disorders and more.
