The Circle

You don’t have to do it alone.

The Circle is your space to connect, reflect, and lead with support behind you.

Welcome to The Circle. A private community for women business owners in Pharmacy created by Amy Oliver + Co.

Owning a pharmacy business is rewarding, but it’s also exhausting, isolating, and more complex than ever. If you’ve ever felt like you’re running a business and holding up the whole world at the same time, you’re not alone.

That’s why we created The Circle: A supportive space for women owners in pharmacy across Canada who want to lead well, build sustainable businesses, and stop doing it all on their own.

You belong here.

Inside The Circle, you’ll find:

  • Connection with pharmacy business executives and other women owners

  • Exclusive community with tools, templates, and webinars (recorded!)

  • Support for the hard days and the growth moments

  • Real ideas from real women doing this work every day

The Details

  • The Circle is a private community for women business owners in the pharmacy sector. If you are currently an owner and identify as a woman, you’re welcome here.

Whether you’re just getting started or decades into your ownership journey, this is a space to connect with others who understand both the opportunities and the weight of leading a business.

We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and representative community. All women owners are encouraged to join, there is no one right way to be here, and every story adds strength to the group.

  • You can join in one of two ways:

    • Click the Join The Circle button above

    • Express interest directly by emailing Holly at holly@amyoliver.ca

    • Be referred by a current Circle member

Once we hear from you, we’ll follow up with a few simple next steps to welcome you in.

  • Yes, our annual membership is $449+applicable taxes.

A portion of the membership is reinvested each year into Canadian initiatives and organizations that support future women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs in pharmacy. This is one of the many ways we pay it forward as a community.

The remaining portion helps cover the administrative costs of running The Circle.

Any surplus funds are redirected toward philanthropic efforts that align with our goals.

    • Access to exclusive online resources and tools

    • Monthly virtual business workshops focused on pharmacy operations, team management, HR essentials, and women in leadership, designed to support the real-world challenges of owning and running a business in the pharmacy space.

    • Women in leadership content and advice

    • Preferred access to other Amy Oliver + Co. events and offerings

    • Includes live virtual gatherings in our Virtual Living Room, where group coaching meets meaningful, real-talk conversations with women who get it.

These are come-as-you-are spaces (yes, even in PJs, from the rink or soccer field, or between shifts) designed for connection, reflection, and support.

Gatherings will launch in September 2025 and we’ll vary the days and times to make sure everyone has the chance to join a few throughout the year. You’re welcome at them all.

  • Yes! Referrals are always welcome and help us grow intentionally. If you know another woman owner who would benefit from this space, we’d love for you to connect them with us by emailing holly@amyoliver.ca.

  • The Circle is built on connection, generosity, and the belief that women in business thrive in community, not in competition.

We are deeply committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion and intentionally creating a space where all women feel seen, respected, and supported.

  • Yes! If you are a co-owner of a pharmacy, you are absolutely welcome in The Circle.

Ownership looks different for everyone, and we recognize the value and perspective co-owners bring to this space.

  • There’s no such thing as “not enough experience” here. Whether you’ve owned your pharmacy for two months or twenty years, The Circle is designed to meet you where you are.

Every voice matters, and there’s something powerful about learning from one another across the spectrum of ownership.

  • Our monthly business workshops and community discussions touch on real-world topics like operations, staffing and HR, management challenges, women in leadership, negotiations, business planning, and more!

We keep things practical, relevant, and grounded in the realities of ownership and loaded with tools and templates to help you put what you learn into practice.

  • Yes, we will have Circle events across the country. As a Circle member you will also have priority access to our SHEtreat.

  • Our virtual living room gatherings are intentionally not recorded to create a safe, open space for honest conversation. However, our monthly business workshops are recorded and shared with members so you can catch up anytime.

  • There’s no set requirement. You can participate as much or as little as your time and energy allow. We design gatherings and events with flexibility in mind so that members can engage in ways that feel sustainable and supportive.

  • Yes, and that’s something we take seriously. All members agree to the community’s ground rules upon joining, including a shared commitment to respect, confidentiality, and inclusion.

What’s shared in The Circle stays in The Circle.

We also have a zero-tolerance policy for any behaviour that is unsafe, discriminatory, disrespectful, or harmful in any way. Violations of this standard will result in immediate removal from the community.

Psychological safety is not negotiable and we’re not messing around with it.

  • Membership is annual and renews each year. If you choose not to renew, simply cancel before the next cycle begins. No pressure, no hard feelings… this community is here for you when you need it. You’re always welcome back again in the future.
